VHA is the lead organisation addressing veteran homelessness. We provide secure, affordable, long-term housing for veterans and their families facing homelessness or financial hardship.

We apply a housing-first approach—where priority is given to those in most need, and importantly without any preconditions attached to entry.

We are the only Registered Community Housing Provider focussed on Veterans in Australia.

Our rents are set in line with government guidelines, which are usually calculated at the lower of 25% of household income or 75% of market rent, ensuring housing remains accessible and sustainable.

We currently provide homes across Victoria, supporting veterans in communities including Mildura, Geelong, Bendigo, Ballarat, Dandenong and Rosebud and we are always looking to expand.
